Agtech Network
The Agtech Network of the Americas began to take shape with the first edition of the IICA Digital Agriculture Week in 2022. Throughout subsequent editions of this event, the Network has incorporated members and cultivated connections among them. The Network is composed of Agtech companies originating in the Americas that offer digital solutions for agri-food systems. At the 2024 edition of Digital Agriculture Week, a process of institutionalizing the Network began (the founding members are detailed below). The Agtech Network of the Americas has the overall purpose of promoting agri-food digitalization and fostering the development of agtech ventures that create digital solutions.

Objective of the Agtechs network
In the process of establishing the Network, it was determined that it would pursue the following objectives:
-
To position the relevance of agri-food digitization in the Americas in different areas.
-
To highlight the role of agtechs as protagonists of digitalization and central actors in digital innovation ecosystems.
-
Facilitate alliances between agtechs and between these and other actors to enhance the development and scalability of solutions.
-
Promote virtual and in-person spaces for the exchange of good practices, learning and lessons learned among agtechs and other actors in the ecosystem.
-
Developing the capabilities of entrepreneurial teams to raise the level of solutions and ventures.
-
To generate links and common positions towards public and private actors and entities from different regions of the world.
-
Collaborate with governments and international organizations in the design of policies that promote the development and responsible incorporation of digital technologies in the agri-food sector.
-
To contribute to promoting the adoption of technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability, ensuring that the technologies are accessible and adaptable for small and medium-scale agriculture.
-
Develop collaborative financing strategies within the network that drive collective growth, promoting a shared and sustainable financing model among network members.
Dynamics and
Network commitments
The Network holds regular meetings under the coordination of the IICA Digitalization Program. These meetings address and define priority actions and aspects related to the Network's operation (governance, membership criteria).
The members of the Network occasionally participate in actions proposed by IICA or its allies, aligned with the objectives of the Network.

Agtech Accelerator
Agtech Accelerator is an exclusive program designed by IICA, Endeavor and the Agtech Network for high-potential agtech entrepreneurs in the Americas.
The program offers intensive training through which entrepreneurs gain the tools to structure their company and define a sustainable growth plan. Its first edition was launched in February 2025 with a selection of 20 Agtech companies from 12 countries.
The Program is the first formal initiative launched by the Network. Two Network representatives participated in its design—along with representatives from Endeavor and IICA—and several entrepreneurs serve as mentors for the Program, alongside leading mentors from Endeavor.
